Accessibility Statement
Last updated October 17, 2026
We want everyone who trades with Fanout to be able to use it, including people who use a keyboard, a screen reader, magnification or reduced motion.
1. Our target
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA across fanout.trade and the Fanout web app. Fanout partly conforms today: some parts don’t yet meet the standard (see known limits below).
2. What we do
- Body, label and secondary text colours meet AA contrast (at least 4.5:1) on our backgrounds, and white button text on our violet fill is 4.7:1.
- Interactive elements show a visible focus ring, and our website pages have a “Skip to content” link.
- Forms have labels, and errors are announced to screen readers.
- Animations stop when your system asks for reduced motion.
- Images have text alternatives; decorative images are hidden from screen readers.
- Pages adapt to phone screens.
- Profit and loss are shown with + and − signs, not by colour alone.
3. Known limits
- Price charts are drawn on a canvas, so screen readers can’t read individual candles or chart lines. Positions, orders and prices are also available as text in the app’s tables and order ticket.
- Some chart actions, such as dragging order lines, need a mouse or touch. You can make the same changes from the positions and orders tables.
- The trading terminal is dense, and some secondary labels are small.
- The animated example on our home page has no pause button; it stops if you turn on reduced motion.
- Some app controls don’t yet support full arrow-key navigation.
4. Report a problem
If something on Fanout is hard to use, email support@fanout.trade with the page, what you were trying to do and any assistive technology you use. We aim to reply within five business days and, where we can, to give you the information you need another way while we fix it.
